Sephora Favorites – Power of the Petal

This 8-piece set is all about products that contain either plants, fruits, or flowers.

What i’ve personally tried

  • Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask: Y’all already know how much I love these eye masks! They’re great for fine lines and brightening your eyes.
  • Fresh Rose Face Mask: This mask has real rose petals in it and you can actually see them! It’s good for hydration and toning and makes your face more radiant.
  • L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate: This body lotion has almond oil and milk. I got a sample and it smelled nice and not too strong. It left my skin really moisturized.

What I’m most excited to try

  • SK-II Facial Treatment Essence: I’ve been wanting to try out an essence and especially this one because SK-II makes high quality products, but they’re also super expensive which is why I haven’t bought it yet. The essence contains, 90% of Pitera, which is a natural by-product of yeast fermentation and enhances the skin’s renewal process. Now I can finally try it out before splurging on the big bottle because it’s one ounce which should be plenty to tell if it really works.
  • Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Face Lifting Soft Cream: Caudalie is another high quality brand and it’s patented and stabilized vine resveratrol naturally enhances firmness and plumps the skin. This cream is also supposed to be mattifying so you can use it as a primer too.
  • Farmacy Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask with Echinacea GreenEnvy™ – Deep Moisture (Cucumber): I haven’t tried this specific deep moisture mask, but I have tried some of the others and I like them. I love using gel masks because they feel so hydrating. Only thing is I was reading the instructions on the back and it said to peel off the blue film then place it on your face and then remove the clear film. I was excited that a company FINALLY made one of the films colored so you knew which one to take off first. I hate when they’re both white or clear and you have no idea which side to put on your face. Anyways, when I opened it I was sad to see that it was a VERY light blue. Like I couldn’t even tell which one was really blue. I ended up taking off the wrong one and putting it on my face backwards. The gel is super thin and sticks to your face really well so it was a bitch to turn it around so be careful when you put the mask on to make sure you take off the correct film first.

Sephora Favorites – Sun Safety Kit

This is a 15-piece kit that’s all about SPF and staying out of the sun and Sephora is even donating $20 from each kit to The Skin Cancer Foundation! I’m obsessed with wearing SPF everyday because the sun is the biggest culprit when it comes to wrinkles. I’m always searching for new products that I currently use, but contain SPF. I’m also looking for SPF that won’t leave my face greasy since I get oily on my T-zone.

What I’ve personally tried

Nothing which is why i’m so excited for this kit!

What I’m most excited to try

  • AMOREPACIFIC Resort Collection Sun Protection Cushion Broad Spectrum SPF 30+: I’m really bad at reapplying SPF especially when I have makeup on so this is perfect for that. I love that it’s a compact so I can throw it in my purse.
  • COOLA Daydream™ Mineral Makeup Primer SPF 30 Unscented: My current primer doesn’t have SPF so if this doesn’t leave me greasy I’ll be in heaven!
  • Cover FX Clear Cover Invisible Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30: This has a gel-like texture that’s not supposed to leave your face greasy or any white residue
  • Dr. Brandt Skincare pores no more® multi-performance stick broad spectrum SPF 45: This stick won’t clog your pores and it’s water resistant so it’ll last you 80 minutes. It’s also slightly tinted.
  • Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47: Argan oil as I’ve said before is great for hydration and this moisturizer also contains SunBoost ATB which is a blend of antioxidants that already work with natural sunscreens so less of them are in this product which is what causes white residue.
  • Murad Invisiblur™ Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++: Anti-aging, a primer, and sunscreen in one! Mushroom peptides in this reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also has soft-focus complex which smooths your complexion.
  • Neogen Dermalogy Day-Light Protection Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++: This is a popular Korean brand and it has honey extracts for anti-aging and is supposed to be non greasy. I love anything Korean because they really know what they’re doing over there.
  • Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Water Resistant (80 Minutes) Suncreen WetForce: This cream actually becomes more effective when it comes in contact with water for 15 minutes because of its WetForce technology. Great for a pool day!
  • Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50: A setting spray with SPF! Of course I’m excited about this!

Sephora Favorites – Skin Wonderland

This 13-piece set covers lots of different skin concerns such as dullness, uneven skin tone, and dryness.

What I’ve personally tried

  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream: I’ve tried a sample of this and it’s so hydrating that it claims to be good for eczema too.
  • Fresh Soy Face Cleanser: I’ve also tried a sample of this and cleans your makeup off without stripping away moisture.
  • Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask: Sampled this and loved the gentle exfoliation.

What I’m most excited to try

  • Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream: I’m always excited to try anything to help get rid of my dark circles.
  • Korres Greek Yoghurt 3 in 1 Cleansing Emulsion: I hate eye makeup removers because most of them are so harsh, but this one is supposed to be gentle and soothing.
  • SK-II Facial Treatment Essence: Can’t believe this kit has this essence too!
  • Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream: I’m a huge Sunday Riley fan. The products always do what they say they’re going to. This cream brightens, exfoliates, and hydrates.
  • Supergoop! Forever Young Hand Cream SPF 40: This is the hand cream I was telling you guys about!
  • tarte Maracuja Oil: I’ve never tried this specific kind of oil before, but I love argan oil so why not. This is supposed to calm excess oil production and the maracuja fruit is rich in Vitamin C for brightening.

I hope you guys discover some great new products in these kits!
