I love designer bags because of their craftsmanship and exclusivity, but they can run upwards to tens of thousands of dollars. I recently discovered a handbag that quickly became my new favorite handbag…and it’s not designer. I was initially drawn to it because of it’s shape. It’s similar to the Celine Luggage handbag, but costs less than 20% of it.  When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the craftsmanship. It was similar to one of my classic Chanel bags or my Lady Dior.

The bag is the Zac Zac Posen Eartha Iconic Top Handle. This particular style is their Convertible Backpack “Pearl Lady”. It can be worn as a top handle, backpack, and even crossbody. I personally love the pearls, but for those who are looking for a more understated look they have others without the pearls and in different colors. This bag is great because it is structured enough for it to not collapse when it isn’t full which makes a handbag last longer. I’ve had some pretty expensive bags that weren’t structured and they’d always fall over and get creases and just get more wear and tear. This bag also has feet! Most bags don’t have feet and even though I hate putting my bag on the floor sometimes you don’t have an option. A side note, I once went to this fancy Italian restaurant(one of the best I’ve ever been to) in NYC and I had one of my classic Chanel bags and I had to put it on the floor because there was nowhere else to put it. A few minutes later a hostess saw it and brought me a stool to put it on! It was the most ridiculous and amazing service I’d ever had! I mean who brings a stool for a purse?! Anyways, obviously most restaurants don’t do this so you need the feet(sorry for the random story).  It has a large open pocket on the inside that could easily fit your phone and a few other things. The only downfall is the sides are a bit open so small items you have in it could fall out if you weren’t paying attention.
